Capturing the CAPE #Sweet City Ride

I moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in April 2018, after living in Washington, D.C. for many years. This is my online journal capturing photographs and life in this beautiful river city. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love this car! Every time I would see it around downtown, I never had my camera ready or with me.

Two classic rides seen around downtown Cape - a fire engine red convertible and a meadow green classic pick-up. A 1949 Willie's Jeepster moving along Water Street -

Walking down Main Street, I saw four jeeps parked in a row and had to snap a few photos. The owners showed up and turns out...

A 1958 Chevrolet Bel-Air. Now that's a sweet city ride that I spotted 'clocking' around the Main and Themis Streets intersection in downtown Cape.

I was down by the river and saw this truck drive by - fell in love instantly. After a little web research, it looks like this is a Ford F 100 from the 1940's -

I came across this Model-T that was parked on Main Street last Saturday. It was definitely a beautiful day for a ride with the top down. And across the street was another classic.
