The last few days here on the Cape have been unseasonably pleasant with the cool air seeping into my flat, it's breeze rattling my open window shades and harmonizing with my wind chimes. I spent considerable time outside the last few carefree days enjoying the weather while capturing the cresting Mississippi. It's surreal being down by old man river with the water seeming perpetually high, yet reflective in its overflowing strength. It's color changing to the movement of the clouds and position of the sun - a beguiling ambience to the observer of it's blue, silver, green and muddy hues. It feels both ravishing and devastating at the same time.
